EX861 puts wireless control where it is needed — a battery-free one-gang kinetic switch for simple click-on / click-off control without Wi-Fi, apps or switch battery maintenance.
The Exitec EX861 One-Gang Wireless Kinetic Switch gives users flexible control without smart-home complexity. Pair it with a compatible Exitec wireless receiver to control lighting or plug-in power from a more convenient location. Because the EX861 uses kinetic switch technology, it does not need switch batteries. It generates the wireless signal from the press action, removing the maintenance problems of battery remotes and the setup problems of Wi-Fi or app-based smart switches. Use it mounted permanently as a wall switch or as a handheld control, depending on the application and final product instructions.
Technical Warning.
Use only with compatible Exitec wireless receivers and in accordance with the supplied instructions. Receiver load ratings must be checked before connecting lighting or powered devices. Wireless range may vary depending on wall construction, building materials, receiver location, interference and site conditions. Do not install in outdoor or wet-area locations unless the final product IP rating confirms suitability.
